about
Hello!
I’m Katelyn Rossier
Katelyn Rossier, a licensed architect, founded mentorDINO LLC driven by her deep passion for mentoring and addressing the challenges faced by professionals in the architecture industry. Observing the strain on middle and senior-level staff, who often juggle demanding project workloads while training the next generation of architects, Katelyn recognized a vital need for better support systems.
mentorDINO LLC is dedicated to providing practical training solutions that ease this burden, offering valuable resources to firms of all sizes and young professionals nationwide. Our mission is to develop the essential skills required for success in the architectural field, ensuring both experienced and emerging professionals thrive.
Our STORY
mentorDINO LLC began in 2019 as a simple blog, mentorArchitect, aimed at sharing stories and experiences with design professionals. Over the years, our mission has evolved to give back to the design community by providing valuable resources to support the industry as a whole.
Through continuous brainstorming, we evaluated the needs within firms and identified the stressors in one’s career. By 2022, we outlined a clear path forward to address these challenges, leading to the creation of mentorDINO LLC in 2023. Our focus includes offering free content such as posts, shared experiences, resources, and research reports.
In late 2023, we expanded our outreach with the launch of the mentorDINO Podcast. Through this platform, Katelyn Rossier interviews professionals in and around the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry to share career stories that highlight the opportunities, options, and insights available. These conversations provide valuable perspectives and inspiration for listeners at all stages of their careers.
Building on this momentum, we introduced the mentorDINO Network in Summer 2024. This comprehensive platform brings together everything in one place: professional development, technical training, and mentorship/networking opportunities. The mentorDINO Network is designed to be a one stop resource for those looking to grow, learn, and connect within the AEC industry.
Oh, and meet Trace, my dinosaur buddy! For those who know me personally, you know I always strive to have fun and laugh at work. Trace keeps me smiling and has been a delightful companion on this journey.
At mentorDINO, we look forward to helping your firm and the industry thrive. If you have specific struggles or need particular resources, please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize content and resources to better serve you.
